Loraine Baker

Ms. Baker passed away early Tuesday morning, May 10, 2011 at Bolivar General Hospital.



A native of Hardeman County, Ms. Baker was born July 6, 1920 to the late David Marion Morris and Katherine Elizabeth Taylor Morris and lived all of her life here. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she was a member for 77 years and retired as a production worker at Tennessee Foods.



She is survived by three sons, Billy, Howard and Jake Baker, all of Bolivar; two daughters, Ann Vaughan and Carolyn Williams, both of Toone; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jimmy Baker and Gene Austin; four brothers, John, Jim, Pete and Hubert Morris; and three sisters, Lizzie Young, Willie Maddox and Minnie Wilson.
