Graveside Service for Mrs. Lorene Flippo Berry, will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:30 pm Fishtrap Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Jerry Flippo and Charles Gresham officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Mrs. Lorene Berry departed this life on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 10 Months, 5 Days. She was born December 20, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, TN the daughter of the late Robert and Cordelia "Delie" Wilson Flippo. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Llewellyn; infant granddaughter and infant twin grandsons; brother; Willie Flippo; sisters, Ethiel Crews, Mable Staggs, Lucy Luna and Anice Gresham.
Mrs. Lorene was a retired factory worker at Genesco and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by son, James Berry of Waynesboro, TN; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister in law; Espie Flippo Beckham; several nieces and nephews.
