LORENE GREATHOUSE MARTIN
Millington, TN: Lorene Greathouse Martin, age 91, passed away August 26, 2017 at the Wellington Healthcare at Millington.
She was born April 12, 1926 in Arkansas and grew up in Missouri the daughter of the late Joe Allen and Annie Alvina Wrenfrow Greathouse. She graduated high school in Missouri and married Willard Noel Martin. They made their home at Millington. She worked for Hershey Candy Bar Company a few years. Mr. Martin died in 1998.
Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, Mark Anthony Martin of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Jeff, Adam and Mary Lou.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willard Noel Martin in 1998, a son, Willard Noel Martin, Jr. a daughter, Anita Martin, a sister, Mary Magaline Greathouse and seven brothers, Gura, Jeffie, Cletis, Ellis, Curtis, Charles, and Elvis Greathouse.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors - Casey Chapel with Bro. Bill Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Owens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday.
