Lorene Powell

LORENE MEEK POWELLwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 7, 1923 the daughter of the late Jessie Miller and Lillie Ann Davis Meek.On November 7, 1942 she was united in marriage to Eugene Powell, who preceded his wife in death on August 29, 2006.Mrs. Powell was a homemaker. She was a member of Hinkle Baptist Church and Sinner\'s Hope Church. Mrs. Powell loved gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, working at her church and she loved her family.Mrs. Powell departed this life on September 6, 2011 in Sardis, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 30 days.She is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Sue Powell Barstow of Belleville, Michigan and Patsy Ann Powell Campbell of Parsons, Tennesseeone son, Larry Gene Powell of Sardis, Tennessee3 grandchildren, Angela Johnson, Michael Barstow and Jimmy Powell2 great grandchildren, Hunter Powell and Lorena Scottone sister, Beatrice McAulley of Bartlett, Tennessee
