Louise Garrison

Louise Garrison of Adamsville, TN was born February 8, 1920 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Sisro R. and Bonnie Meek Hunt. She was a retired Seamstress with Garan Sportswear and Harwood Manufacturing Company.

She was united in marriage to Orvil C. Garrison on May 8, 1938. Mr. Garrison preceded her in death on May 17, 1995.

Mrs. Garrison was a member of Mt. Vinson Methodist Church but attended the First Baptist Church in Adamsville. She was a weekly attendant at the Adamsville Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren, working puzzle books, and shopping and buying shoes. Ms. Louise always kept an immaculate house and up until a few years ago cooked Sunday meals for her entire family.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Garrison Gortney and husband Joe of Adamsville, TN, Glenda Lambert and husband Frank of Adamsville; two sons, O'Neal Garrison and wife Druenette of Stantonville, TN, Jamie Garrison and wife Dwana of Adamsville; nine grandchildren, Ricky Garrison and wife Kathy, Steven Lambert and wife Gretchen, Tara Garrison Moffett, Wendy Wright and husband Gary, Kayla Clark, Kerri Hanks, Libby Prather, Madison Garrison, Atoyia Barnes; fourteen great grandchildren, Jordan Lambert, Darby Lambert, Aranda Hanks, Tanner Garrison, Anderson Lambert, Sarah Grace Clark, Blair Prather, Abby Moffett, Dani Beth Moffett, Eli Lambert, Riley Lambert, Colton Hanks, Hayes Barnes, Jack Houston Barnes; special friends, Kathy Wagoner, Garmelia Perkins, Robert Miller and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack Hunt, Glen Hunt, Cratis Hunt, Bill Hunt.
