Louise Nicholson Ivy, 91, of Middleton, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Mid-South Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Memphis.The widow of James E. Ivy, who died June 19, 1995, she was born in Pinson March 26, 1918 to the late Melvin and Jettie Redding Nicholson. She was a devoted homemaker and lived in Middleton since 1967. Mrs. Ivy attended Silerton Methodist Church.She leaves as her survivors, four daughters, Sue Bishop of Memphis, Clara Czarnopys of Granite City, IL, Debra Suarez of Plant City, FL, Denise Woods of Horn Lake, MS; two sons, Wade Ivy of Arlington, Finis Ivy of Corinth, MS; two half sisters, Yvonne Keller of Bolivar, Wanda Faye of Columbus, MS; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ivy was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Ann Ivy, Joyce Cisco; a son, James Harold Ivy; and a half brother, Bobby Nicholson.
