LOUISE LAYTON
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 7, 1929 the daughter of the late Parvin Carter and Mary Pathenia Dill Blanton.
Louise was united in marriage to R. C. Hamm, who preceded his wife in death on March 16, 1998. On August 16, 2001 she was united in marriage to Wallace Layton, who preceded her in death on January 14, 2009.
Louise was a machine operator for Harwood Manufacturing Company in Adamsville, Tennessee. She had also worked for Angelica Manufacturing Company. Louise was a member of Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church.
She departed this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Louise is survived by her son, James Hamm and his wife Cathy of Adamsville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Lisa Shelby and her husband Jessie; great grandchildren, Kristan Shelby and Kaden Shelby and his wife Skyler; and sister, Margaret Patton of Adamsville, Tennessee.
Louise was also preceded in death by one brother, Cleatis Blanton.
