Louise Tune Hinton Reed departed this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the age of 97 years, 3 months, and 2 days. She was born in Waterloo, Alabama on July 5, 1923, the daughter of the late John Henry and Irla Belle Craven Tune. On April 3, 1976, she was united in marriage to John H. Louise was a loving wife, mother, and an especially caring grandmother. She loved to sing gospel music, was an avid gardener, enjoyed quilting, and was a great cook. She truly loved the Lord and would spend hours in prayer, and had read the Bible front to back multiple times. She was always helping others and one Thanksgiving, on the way to a family dinner, she gave away the food she had cooked to a homeless family.
Throughout Louise's long life, she had worked for Garan Manufacturing, Brown Shoe Company, North Elementary, Hardin County Central High, Kay Windsor, and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she was one of the original founding members.
