LOUISE FRANKS SHELBYwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 15, 1922 the daughter of the late Leslie Hobert and Maggie Stricklin Franks.She was united in marriage to Clarence Franks, who preceded his wife in death in 1989. Later she was united in marriage to Milton Shelby, who preceded his wife in death in 2009.Mrs. Shelby was a homemaker. She was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Shelby departed this life on September 21, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 6 days.She is survived by 2 step daughters, Doris Shelby of Stantonville, Tennessee and Cora Lou Montgomery of Florence, Alabama.one step daughter in law, Joyce Franks of Savannah, Tennesseeone step son, Jimmy Shelby of Savannah, Tennesseeseveral step grandchildren and step great grandchildren2 sisters, Margreat Sue Orr of Memphis, Tennessee and Dorothy Irvin Ray of Savannah, TennesseeShe was also survived by several nieces and nephewsMrs. Shelby was also preceded in death by one step son, Leo Franks and 2 sisters, Hazel Appenzellar and Annie Kate Young.
