Louise Stewart

Mrs. Louise Stewart, age 91, of Middleton, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL.

A native of Walnut, MS, she was born March 22, 1925 to Lawson William Campbell and Eunice Mae Sexton Campbell, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in Tippah County and lived in Memphis for a few years prior to moving to Middleton. She had lived in Lakeland, Florida since January of 2016. She worked as a caterer and owned and operated Stewart's Department Store in Middleton. She was active in the Middleton Women's Club and enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and completing crossword puzzles. She was a member of South Middleton Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Susan Herndon (Garrell) of Plano, TX, Sandra Hutchins (Trevor) of Daytona Beach Shores, FL and Rebecca Sheumaker (Robert) of Lakeland, FL; a son, Tommy Stewart of Starkville, MS; a sister, Pearl Dunn of Memphis; a brother, Don Campbell (Brenda) of Little Rock, AR; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family requests memorial contributions in her name be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
