LOUISE TAYLOR

 Henderson, TN: Electa Louise King Taylor age 79 passed away July 15, 2024, at her home.

She was born July 21, 1944, in Corinth, MS, the daughter of the late Ozero Jenkins and Dexter Elizabeth Inman King. She grew up in Chester County and Madison Counties in TN and graduated from Pinson School.

She married Bill Taylor on January 3, 1998, and they made their home in Henderson. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on December 10, 2018.

In her early years she worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. and later she worked as manager for Henderson View Apartments for many years.

She was a devoted Christian and member of House of Prayer Church at Jacks Creek.

She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed working out in the yard. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by a son, Doug Holder (Amy) of Saltillo, TN; a daughter, Libby Holder of Henderson; two stepsons Tommy Cupples (Shirley) of Jackson and Keith Taylor (Lisa) of Owensboro, KY; two stepdaughters, Janet Stout of Henderson and Anita Hanley (Paul) of Henderson; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Sue Ann Duke of Scotts Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William ‘Bill’ Elihu Taylor, a stepson, Russell Cupples, a stepdaughter, Michelle Taylor, two brothers, Robert Joe King and Thomas Edward King, a sister Betty Lou Littrell and two grandchildren, Joseph Cupples and Mary Louise Crosnoe.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 19th at House of Prayer Church, with Bro. Mike Cothren officiating. Burial will follow at the House of Prayer Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at House of Prayer Church 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Friday.
