Louise White
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on February 14, 1953, the daughter of the late Otis and Letha Cox Austin.
On November 27, 1978, she was united in marriage to Johnny Lee White, who survives.
Louise retired after 20 years as a CNA for Park Rest Nursing Home and she also had worked at a sewing factory for 25 years. She was a member of Wards Community Church for 25 years and Nixon First Pentecostal Church for 10 years. Louise was a hard worker until the time she was too tired to go. She was a prayer warrior and always stayed positive and humble. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and loved spending time her family and cooking for them. She was the best wife, mom, and grandma ever.
Louise departed this life on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 24 days.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, Johnny Lee White of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her daughters, Angela K. Cossey and Sherri Lee McGill, both of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Layne Morris, Lindsey Cossey, Holly Jo Payne, and Emory Payne; and sisters, Molly Hudson and Kathy Burks.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Letha Austin; grandson, Kenneth Garth Glover; sisters, Rebecca Joyce Lener and Ollie Mae Turner; and brother, Paul David (P.D.) Austin.
