HENDERSON, TN; Mr. Lowell Paige Britton, age 86, passed away Friday evening at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Paige was born on November 12, 1932 in McNairy County, the son of the late Bill and Bernice Meek Britton. He married Judy Booth on September 9, 1967. He was an employee of G.E. in Selmer for almost thirty years. He enjoyed gardening and playing music, and was a collector of all things used. He was a member of Old Friendship Baptist Church.
Mr. Britton is survived by a sister, Christine Jones of Adamsville, TN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Britton; two brothers, Max Britton and Ted Britton; and a sister, Maxine Smith.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – East Main Chapel with Bro. Ken Frye officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel from 10:00 AM Monday until service time.
