Loyd Mitchell Nance

Pinson, TN: Loyd Mitchell “Mickey†Nance, age 72 passed away July 3, 2011 at his home in Pinson, TN.
He was born in Henderson and reared in Bemis, son of the late Daniel Lloyd and Minnie Dee Howell Nance, He went to school in Bemis and graduate from J.B. Young high school. He worked for Whalley Construction in Jackson for over 30 years and was a foreman. He also worked for Deviney Construction, for Chris Messer Trucking and later for Hub Express. He retired in 2001. He was married to Carolyn Murchison of Pinson on May 20,1994. They have made their home in Pinson since that time. Mickey loved to be outside, doing yard work and gardening. He loved drive 18 wheelers and collecting all kinds of things, including bird houses. He was a member of the Bear Creek Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Murchison Nance for over 17 years, a son Chris Nance of Miss., three daughters Jennifer Benfield of Pinson, Summer Moore of Henderson and Cindy Jaeger of Cedar Grove, also five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Henry Nance and four sisters, infant sisters LaFenya and Joyce Nance, Mageline Moore, and Betty Jo Stansill.
