Lucille Mccormack, 98 passed away in Selmer, TN. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church and retired from Brown Shoe Company, where she worked many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and quilting. She quilted a estimated 130 quilts after her retirement, which she gave to her family.
In July 2009 she went to live in McNairy County Health Center. There she was loved by all and enjoyed her stay very much. While she was there, she was crowned Queen Twice. In May 2012, she was crowned Queen over thirteen ladies from health care centers over West TN. The pageant was held in Jackson,TN and she stole their Hearts.
Survivors include two daughters, Freddie Jobe and husband Jackie, Wanda Miller and husband Jackie, her grandchildren Mike Jobe, Alisa Pittman, Beth Miller, and Mollie Prince. Her great grandchildren Jonathon Jobe, Kristen Troutt, Meredith Pittman, Camp Pittman, John Davis Prince, Miller Prince, Major Prince, Grace Ann Prince, Shelby Mason, and one half brother Billy Pearson.
In addition to her husband Mrs. McCormack was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Pearson; two sisters, Alama Washburn, Aarbic Washburn; along with her parents Mr.Laney and Gertrude Springer Pearson.
