Obituary

Lynn Carol Isbell, a vibrant, compassionate, and true lover of life and animals, passed away peacefully at her home in Olive Branch, Mississippi, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 58.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 7, 1968, to her loving parents, Tedford and JoAnn Isbell, Lynn Carol grew up in Memphis before eventually making her home in Olive Branch. A 1986 graduate of White Station High School, she went on to attend The University of Tennessee at Martin, where she actively shared her passion for equestrian sports as a member of the Rodeo Team. She later earned her bachelor’s degree from Memphis State University in 1990. Professionally, Lynn Carol demonstrated incredible loyalty and dedication, working as a valued team member at Central Woodwork in Memphis for over 42 years.

Lynn Carol was a proud, active member of both the American Quarter Horse Association and the Sunset Hills Saddle Club. Her heart was always happiest in the arena and on the trails, and she deeply cherished the time spent alongside her mom and dad traveling to and competing in countless horse shows and rodeos over the years. Her kindness knew no bounds when it came to animals, and her life was enriched by her deep love for her horses, dogs, and goats.

She is survived by her loving mother and father, Tedford and JoAnn Isbell, and her beloved cousin, Benji, whom she loved like a brother. Lynn Carol will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by a host of loving cousins, extended family, and special friends.

For those who wish to honor her memory, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any local animal shelter or rescue organization in honor of Lynn Carol Isbell.
