Lynne Fern Hill

Lynne Fern Hill of Bethel Springs, TN, was born on November 8, 1931, to the late D. D. Brooks and Viola Parker Brooks. She was united in marriage to Leonard M. Hill on July 17, 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Beauty Hill Pentecostal Church.Mrs. Hill departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at her home at the age of 77 years, 10 months, and 26 days.Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Leonard M. Hill of Bethel Springs; daughter, Sheri Austin and husband John of Bethel Springs; three sons, Joey Hill and wife Terrie, Ricky H. Hill and wife Joyce, and Kerry Doyle Hill and wife Patricia, all of Bethel Springs; a brother, John Walker Brooks of Newbern, TN; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Moore on August 13, 1998, a sister, Grace Curlee Croskery, and a brother, Leonard Paul Brooks.
