Mable Aline Morris was born on May 8, 1933 in Waterloo, Alabama, the daughter of the late Will Andrew and Margie Gertrude White.
On November 20, 1949, she was united in marriage to William Floyd Morris, who preceded his wife in death on October 17, 1980.
Mable was a good homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great granddaughters. She also loved music and enjoyed singing. Mrs. Morris was a member of New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Mable Aline Morris departed this life on October 24, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 92 years, 5 months, and 16 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Pickens (Billy) of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Roger Morris (Cathy) of Osceola, Indiana; sister, Geneva Faye Duha; brother, William C. White; grandchildren, Ryan William Morris (Barbara) of Mishawaka, Indiana and Tina Marie Harrington (Jeff) of Oxford, Mississippi; and great grandchildren, Joshua Lane Harrington of Birmingham, Alabama, Jonah Luke Harrington (Julia) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Patrick Morris of Indiana; and great great granddaughters, Lena Elizabeth Harrington and Nora Layne Harrington, both of Birmingham, Alabama.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mable was preceded in death by her brothers, Turner White and Jack White and sisters, Beatrice Harrison, Zula Liles, Jeannette Bennett, and Irene Lard.
