MAMIE DELL CLIMER ESSARY
Reagan, TN: Mamie Dell Climer Essary, age 88, passed away May 5, 2017, at the Lexington Manor.
She was born February 3, 1929 in Henderson County, the daughter of the late Dexter Franklin and Gertha Barker Climer. She attended schools in Henderson County. She married Auvie Essary in 1944. They made their home in Chester County most of their married life. Mr. Essary worked as a mechanic. Mrs. Essary worked for a few years at Salant & Salant in Henderson. She was a member of the Center Point Holiness Church and attended Stone Hill Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed quilting and bird watching.
Mrs. Essary is survived by two sons, Johnny Bueal Essary of Lexington and Jeffery Odell Essary of Reagan and a daughter, Glenda Carolyn Henderson of Reagan; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Climer and Joe Climer both of Reagan and three sisters, Elizabeth Mooney, Martha Bell Climer and Velma Dean Hart all of Reagan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Auvie Essary in 1999; a son, Jimmy Neal Essary in 2008; three brothers, Paul Climer, Ernist Climer and Clifford Climer, and a sister, Hazel Ryan.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Clifford Stone and Bro. Randy Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday.
