Mandy Jamerson Amerson was born January 3, 1921 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Elmer and Cassie (Tinnie) Moore Jamerson.
She was united in marriage to Orval Amerson on December 24, 1945. Mr. Amerson preceded her in death on July 28, 1994.
Mrs. Amerson was a housewife. She was a member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church in Finger, TN for 80 years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and sports.
Mrs. Amerson departed this life on October 25, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 9 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Russom and husband Howard of Finger, TN, Katie McCormick and husband Thomas of Selmer, TN; a son, Kenneth Amerson and wife Dorothy of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Jean Cox and husband R.P. of Bethel Springs, TN; six grandchildren, Keith Amerson of Bethel Springs, TN, Tommy McCormick and wife Crystal of Henderson, NV, Terry McCormick and wife Kirstie of Adamsville, TN, Jennifer Moore and husband Nicky of Selmer, TN, Sandy Bates of Henderson, TN, Michael Russom and wife Christy of Finger, TN; 16 Great Grandchildren; host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Amerson was preceded in death by four sisters, Mauline Singleton, Pauline Hair, Nell Nowlin, Mary Edith Jamerson; five brothers, Garner Jamerson, Ovie Jamerson, Wilson Jamerson, J.R. Jamerson, Nelson Jamerson.
