Obituary

Margaret Ann Hill, née Keep, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 79. Born on March 14, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, Margaret's life was an enduring testament to grace, resilience, and deep devotion to her family.

Margaret's days began in the warmth of Memphis, where she was the beloved daughter of John Wafford Keep and Margaret Skelton Keep, now both departed. She grew amidst a loving family, forming bonds that would become the foundation of her gentle and nurturing spirit.

Throughout her years, Margaret was a steadfast presence to her family and a source of unwavering support and kindness. She was preceded in death by her devoted sisters, Betty Kristler and Shirley Skelton, whose memories she carried always in her heart.

Margaret leaves behind a loving family who will miss her profoundly. Her legacy lives on through her children: Brian Hill and Larry (Molly) Glover, who will always remember her encouragement and wisdom. Also surviving is her sister Faye Morrise and Mike; and her brother Butch Skelton and Janie, who together shared in countless cherished memories.

As a grandmother, Margaret brought light to the lives of her grandchildren—Hannah Hill, Rebecca Glover, and Larry Glover, Jr.—offering gentle guidance, unconditional love, and endless kindness. Her grandchildren will fondly recall the warmth and laughter she brought to their lives.

Margaret's life was one marked by selflessness and quiet strength. She cherished her roles as daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, weaving love through every relationship she formed. Those who knew Margaret will remember her as a compassionate soul, faithful friend, and the heart of her family.

Her memory will live on in the stories shared around the family table, in the lessons passed from generation to generation, and in the gentle touch of her kindness that remains with all who were privileged to know her.

As her family and friends gather to remember Margaret Ann Hill, they do so with gratitude for a life beautifully lived and a spirit that touched many.

She will be missed dearly and loved always.
