Margaret "Marie" Moore

Annie Margaret ‘Marie’ Franks-Moore, 101 years old,  of Monette Arkansas passed on to heaven on April 30, 2023 at Lake Side Nursing Center in Lake City Arkansas.  Born December 10, 1921 in Savannah TN, she was the daughter of William Otis Franks and Maggie Welch-Franks. She was the widow of the late John Moore. She has lived in Monette AR over the past 20 years. Marie was a home- maker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her husband and children and took joy and pride in gardening and growing lots of flowers.  In her later years she loved and enjoyed her two cats, Lacy and Ginger that spent many years by her side. Mama Moore was a kind, gentle and soft-spoken lady and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  

                                                                                                                                                                 
 Preceded in death by spouse John Moore, son Larry Moore, and 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  She is survived by a sister, Ruth Bryant of Brewton Alabama, 4 sons, Johnny Moore, Gene Moore and George Moore all of Monette and Carl Moore of Lake City AR.  Also, 3 daughters, Mary 'Moore' Eubanks of Ozark, AR, Linda 'Moore' Delancey of Blytheville, AR, and Rose Ann 'Moore' Riney of Osceola, AR, 8 children total, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
