Margaret Odom McDonald

Margaret Rose McDonald was born May 2, 1929 in Hohenwald, TN the daughter of the late John and Mamie Peeler Odom. Mrs. McDonald departed this life on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 7 Months, 26 Days. She was married to Doris Culp McDonald December 6, 1947. He preceded her December 27, 2001. She was retired from Mallory Capacitor in Waynesboro. She was a member of Wayne County Bible Center and Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, Larry McDonald and wife Judy and Terry McDonald and wife Ann all of Waynesboro, TN, five grandchildren, Cameron McDonald, Callie Dudley and husband Tim, Clara Reatherford, Lorie White and husband Jake, and Amy McDonald, great grandchildren, Tate McDonald, Erin Dudley, Allison Dudley, Keirsten Reatherford, Landree White, and Clate White. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Rose McDonald, brothers, Tom, Clyde, L.G., and Bob Odom, sisters, Rada Duncan, Audie Davis, Mildred Bruce, and Inaree Wisdom.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leo Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in McDonald Family Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
