Margaret G. Moore

Margaret G. Moore was born June 21, 1944 in Hardeman County, TN the daughter of the late Clarence and Lois Hawthorne Grantham.

She was united in marriage to James L. Moore on September 14, 1973. Mr. Moore preceded her in death on November 14, 2009 following 36 years of marriage.

Mrs. Moore was a production worker for 27 years at Harmon Automotive until the plant closed. She then worked in Property Administration for Corrections Corporation of America in Whiteville before retiring. She loved being outside and working in her flower garden, attending yard sales, sitting on her porches, and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Moore was baptist in faith.

Mrs. Moore departed this life on August 2, 2020 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 1 Month, 12 Days. She is survived by three children: Donna Stanley, Richard Stanley, and Doug Moore, all of Bethel Springs, TN; two very special daughter-in-laws that went above and beyond their role in the family, Brandy Moore and Cindy Stanley; four siblings: Ray Grantham, Robert Grantham, Marie McDonald, and Pansy Thornton, all of Hardeman County, TN; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and special friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Grantham.
