Margaret Marie Russell

Mrs. Margaret Marie Russell, age 76 of Henderson, passed away Friday evening, May 12, in Jackson, TN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Silerton Bapist Church Cemetery.

Margaret Marie Russell was born April 29, 1940 to the late Dentis Earl "Bud" Smith and I. D. Wilson Smith in Hardeman County, TN. She was an employee of Harmon Automotive from 1961 to 1995. She was a member of the Silerton Baptist Church. Margaret was a graduate of the class of 1958 at Bolivar Central High School, and she enjoyed gardening. She spent all of her life living in Hardeman County.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon King(Morris) of Bolivar, TN, Anita Jacobs(Mark Knepp) of Bolivar, TN, and Kim Clifton of Silerton; five grandchildren, Eric and Julie King, Bryan Smith, Brittany Jacobs, Brandy Jacobs, and Cody Clifton; and five great-grandchildren, Brianna Smith, Ally Smith, Addyson Smith, Dalton Smith, and Travis Galigher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and I.D. Smith; and a brother, Clarence Smith.
