Margaret Ann (Sanderson) Kilburn of Selmer, TN, went home to the lord on the evening of Tuesday September 29, 2026. She passed away quietly at her youngest son James’ home with him by her side.

Margaret was born June 27, 1943, in Plymouth, IN, to Newton Edward Sanderson and Rosetta Maxine (Crosley(adopted)/Yockey) Sanderson. On October 7, 1959, she married Tom John Kilburn (deceased 2015) and is survived by their three sons Jeffrey Alan Kilburn (wife Deborah) of Hartland, Wisconsin; John Edward Kilburn (wife Aimee) of Lafayette, Indiana; and James Earl Kilburn (wife Michelle) of Selmer, Tennessee. Also surviving, one sister Sharon Ziglear of Mishawaka, Indiana. Nine grandchildren: Jackson (wife Taylor), Grace, Hannah, James, Seraphine, Jacob and Justin Kilburn, Britny (Burton) Murray and Jessica (Burton) Joseph. Four great grandchildren with one more on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Rosemary and Alberta. Three brothers: Richard, Russell, and Edward.

She had multiple jobs during her life, but motherhood suited her best. She loved all her family: sisters, brothers, children, nieces, nephews and all their children. She was a mother at heart and will no doubt be missed by everyone who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Lutts Cemetery, where the cremated remains will be laid to rest.

Food and fellowship will follow immediately after the service.
