Margie Tedford

Pinson, TN: Margie Royal Tedford age 100 passed away April 25, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.She was born in Montague County, TX the daughter of the late Walter and Nellie Speer Royal. She went to school in TX and later OK. She made her home in Hollis, OK and was married to Joe Tedford in 1928. They made their home in OK until moving to Tennessee in 1938. Mrs. Tedford worked in Memphis and later moved to Pinson in 1945. She worked at Remnant House Fabrics where she retired in 1981. Mr. Tedford passed away in 2002. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Pinson.She is survived by three sons; Harold Tedford and wife Rhonda of Jackson, Ted Tedford and wife Ann of Pinson and Jimmy Tedford and wife Brenda of Pinson; nine grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a sister, Reva Burlison of Chickasha, OK and one brother, Clyde Royal of Maricopa, CA.
