Marie Hanback Weaver

Marie Stooksberry Hanback Weaver of Iron City, TN was born December 15, 1937 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Willie Herman and Bessie Olive Stooksberry. She was united in marriage to Donald Earl Hanback on July 16, 1960 and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1970. She later married James H. (Jimmy) Weaver on October 1, 1992.



Mrs. Weaver was a retired headstart teacher with South Central Resource Agency and was a member of the Iron City Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee.



Mrs. Weaver departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days.



She is survived by her husband, James H. (Jimmy) Weaver of Iron City, TN; sons, Stan Hanback and wife, Darlene of Iron City, TN and Tim Hanback and wife, Kim of Cypress Inn, TN; stepson, Brett Weaver and wife, Amy of Loretto, TN; grandchildren, Shaun Hanback and wife, Lindsey, Donny Joe Hanback, Katie Hanback, Ben Hanback, Noel Hanback, and Savannah Weaver; brothers, Junior Stooksberry and wife, Kay and Keith Stooksberry and wife, Lisa all of Iron City, TN; sisters, Shirley Robertson and husband, Royce of Iron City, TN, Lilly Day of Brunswick, GA, and Cathy Cook and husband, Billy of Florence, AL; half-sister, Iva Dean Jackson of MI; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents and her first husband, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by a brother, J. W. Stooksberry and a half-brother, Ellis Stooksberry.



Services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Dennis Hanvey and Stacey Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, TN directing.

Pallbearers will be Adam Stooksberry, Brad Stooksberry, Steve Stooksberry, Gary Stooksberry, Roger Robertson, and Zeb Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Shaun Hanback, Donny Joe Hanback, and Ben Hanback.
