Marie Hatch was born December 28, 1973 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late William Cecil and Judy Evyon Flatt Rickman.
She was united in marriage to Elvis Hatch on March 2, 1996.
Marie graduated from McNairy Central High School. She worked in production for Connector Castings in Selmer, and had also worked as a waitress for Barnhill's Country Buffet in Jackson and McDonald's in Selmer. Cake decorating, doing cross-stitch, cooking, solving word puzzles and playing games on her phone, swimming (as long as she could see the bottom), and camping at the river were among her favorite activities. Marie loved to talk, and never met a stranger. She always wanted to hear about everyone else's day and loved spending time with her family, especially going places and doing things with her daughters. She was an immaculate housekeeper whose favorite color was green, but she loved yellow on her girls.
Marie departed this life on February 18, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 48 Years, 1 Month, 21 Days. She is survived by her husband of almost 26 years, Elvis Hatch of Bethel Springs, TN; three daughters: Cassie Hatch, Anna Hatch, and Mary Hatch, all of Bethel Springs, TN; three brothers: Ivy Cecil Rickman of Dyer, TN, Richard Rickman of Bolivar, TN, and Herbert Rickman (Diane Barnes) of Pocahontas, TN; a sister of the heart, Tammy Willis of Selmer, TN; 5 nieces: Danielle Dixon (Hunter), Kaitlyn Cronin (Jacob), Tabitha Willis, Adalynn Hatch, and Angela Rickman; 3 nephews: Bleyden Hatch, Triton Hatch, and James Rickman; a great-niece, Katalina Cronin; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Hatch (Kortney) and Dustin Grissom; her in-laws, Tony and Mary Grissom of Bethel Springs, TN; her foster mom, Jean Smith of Michie, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus Rickman, and her foster dad, George Smith.
