Marie Sparks
Norma Marie Sparks, age 93, died Saturday morning, September 15, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital.
Miss Sparks was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Ghanie Alexander and Minnie Clara Hodges Sparks. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1939. She and her sister Maxine went to work at Salant and Salant when the plant opened in 1941 and she worked there as a payroll clerk. She has made her home in the Wilson School Road Community and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by a brother Howard Sparks and her sister Maxine Sparks.
She is survived by a niece Peggy Sparks Mileham and husband Roger of Henderson and great niece and nephews; Kelly Wiggins (Nick), Jason Mileham (Kim), and Brian Mileham (Ashley), and great-great nephews Braden Mileham and Brison Wiggins
There will be a private graveside family service.
