Marilyn Mannon

Marilyn Mannon, age 69, of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at her home.

A native of Toone, she was born Wednesday, September 3, 1947, daughter of the late Samuel Sherman Mannon and Novie Inez Bell Mannon and lived all of her life here in the county. She was retired as a custodial worker with Pleasant View Healthcare Center, having worked there about 11 years. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch with her dog 'Mack' and visiting with her neighbors. Miss Mannon was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Donna Ervin of Bolivar; a nephew, Jeff Richardson of Middleburg; a niece, Debra Simpson of Bolivar; six great nieces and nephews, Erika Kelly, Taylor, Demi and T. J. Richardson, Rebecca and Hanna Simpson; four great great nephews and three godchildren, Payge Marie Griffin, Kensley Griffin and Keystein Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William "Billy" Mannon. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the ALS Society at www.alsa.org/donate.
