Marilyn Patterson

Marilyn Cox Patterson was born May 17, 1934 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James R. and Rosie Arlie Hodge Cox. She departed this life on April 27, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 11 Months, 10 Days.Ms. Patterson was a Hairdresser and Cosmetologist . She was a member of the Pocahontas Church of Christ in Pocahontas, Tennessee. She is survived by a son, William Stanley Patterson and wife Penny of Tacoma, WA; two grandchildren, T. J. Patterson, Christian William Patterson; two sisters, Pat Whitman of Selmer, TN, Tressie (Stormy) Fortune of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Chester Cox of Bethel Springs, TN, Claudie Cox of Selmer, TN. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to her parents, Miss Patterson was preceded in death by a sister, Susanna Cox Greer; two brothers, James Jerald Cox, Robert Shelby Cox.
