Mrs. Rodriguez passed from this life on Wednesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico, she had lived in Hardeman County for the past 10 years, moving here from Chicago. She married Mr. Jose Rodriguez on Saturday, October 3, 1981, was Catholic in faith and enjoyed traveling with her husband when he worked as a truck driver. She also loved to cook, going back home to Mexico on vacations and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Jimena Rodriguez of Huntsville, AL, Esmeralda Rodriguez of Saulsbury, TN and Maria Rodriguez (Abraham) of Waynesboro, TN; three sons, Jose Rodriguez of Huntsville, AL, Juan Rodriguez (Erin) of Saulsbury and Saul Rodriguez (Fabiola) of Waynesboro; three sisters, Juana Angel of Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico, Yolonda Angel of Smyrna, TN and Alida Angel of Chicago, IL; four brothers, David Angel of Chicago, Leopoldo Angel of Mexico, Enrique Angel of Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico, and Jose Guadalupe Angel of Chicago; and 12 grandchildren, Saulito, Kevin, Maddelyn, Morgan, Alex, Maddox Jose, Jayden, Natalie and Sophia Rodriguez, Darian, Osvaldo and Abran Tovar.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Angel and Olivia Fernandez.
When attending visitation or services for Mrs. Rodriguez, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
