MARJORIE BARFELZ JACKSON
was born in Jackson, Michigan on July 31, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles Cecil and Beatrice Arlene Lewis Cuvelier.
On March 3, 1951 she was united in marriage to Edward Carroll Barfelz, who preceded his wife in death on September 5, 1986. On September 23, 1989 she was united in marriage to Louis Jackson, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2000.
Marjorie was a homemaker and loved her garden. She was a wonderful mother, "grammie", friend and Christian, who always had an encouraging word. She had a special wit and humor and was loved by all who knew her. She was richly blessed with brothers and sisters in the Lord, attending Apolostolic Assembly of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, First Apostlic of Bridgman, Michigan, Grace Sanctuary, New Life Pentecostal, and currently Northside Baptist Church, all in Savannah, Tennessee.
She departed this life on October 6, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Tina Music and her husband Frank, Sr. of Savannah, Tennessee, Patricia Rokely and her husband Scott of DeWitt,Michigan, Charles Barfelz of Bennington, and Vermont and Dawn Hnanicek of Berrien Springs, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Frank Music, Jr. and his wife Kristen, John Music, Amy Linville and her husband Brandon, Rick Rokely, Abby Channell and her husband Russ, Jesse Barfelz and Adam Hnanicek;
six great grandchildren, Rylee Music, Adyson Music, Jace Music, Kaylee Linville, Allie Linville and Dylann Channell;
two brothers, Charles Cuvelier of Union City, Tennessee and Robert Cuvelier of Harrison, Michigan.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Dietiker and Lewis Cuvelier.
