Marjorie Wilder Moore, 92, of Bartlett, Tennessee died June 19, 2021, at Methodist Hospital Germantown after a short illness. She was born in Sanborn, Florida on March 24, 1929, to Thomas Hezekiah and Callie Louisa Spear Wilder. She was the youngest of seven brothers and five sisters. On July 12, 1945, she married the love of her life, Haven Nathan Moore, in Corinth, Mississippi. After the war, she and Haven lived in Selmer before settling in Memphis. She went to work for what was then First National Bank, now First Horizon, as a file clerk eventually becoming a Vice President. After 33 years at the bank, she retired to be with her husband at their Lakeland home.
Today she is in heaven to hear her husband again sing “You are my Sunshine” to her and her Papa sing “I’ll Meet You in the Morning.”
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Anne Moore Griffin and her husband, Dan; and her son Gary Wayne Moore and his wife, Lorrie; four grandchildren Wendy Anderson, Andy Griffin and his wife, Monica, Nathan Griffin and his wife, Amy, and Melodie Moore; one sister, Myra Parsons of Nashville and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
