Marjorie L. Sipes

Mrs. Marjorie L. Sipes, age 76 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away at her home Thursday morning, July 30, 2015.

She was born February 28, 1939, to the late Virgil and Doris Whitsett Davis in Memphis, TN. She married William Donald Sipes on April 5, 1958, and they were happily married for 57 years. Mrs. Sipes was a homemaker who loved to cook and take care of her family. She lived in Bolivar since 1961.

She is survived by her husband, Don Sipes of Bolivar; a son, Donnie Sipes (Jamie) of Middleton; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Cox of Memphis, and Barbara Houston of Southaven, MS; five grandchildren Will, Kaitlin, Leeann, John, and Bryce; and one great-grandchild, Jackson. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sipes Roy; a son, Rickey Sipes; and a sister, Ruth Holman.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bolivar First Baptist Church Food Pantry.
