Mark Brandon Collins, 49, Iron City, TN, was born April 4, 1968 in Springfield, MO. Brandon, a Behavorial Health Administrator for Riverbend Maximum Security Institution, a U. S. Navy veteran, a Dixie Youth Baseball coach, a Tennessee Promise mentor and of the Baptist faith, departed this life suddenly, Monday, March 26, 2018 in Franklin, TN. He grew up in Neosho, MO and graduated in 1986 from Neosho High School and graduated with honors in 2010 from UNA with a Master's Degree in criminal justice. Brandon had worked at South Central Corrections Facility in Clifton, TN and Trace Group Home in Waynesboro, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Arliene Keeton Collins and son, Brandon Lee Collins and wife, LeAnne all of Iron City, TN; mother, Judith Ann Brown of Springfield, MO; brother, Andrew Charles Collins of Joplin, MO; step-brother, Gary Brown of Shawnee, KS; sister, Randi Collins Hagensicker of Joplin, MO.
Brandon was expecting a granddaughter, Blaire Rose Collins in August, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Randy Collins; step-father, Edgar Brown; grandparents, Charles E. Young and Imogene Young Reed and Lawrence and Helen Collins and nephew, Quintin Keeton.
Services will be March 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Keeton, Zac Keeton, Peyton Pigg, Hunter Keeton, Jonah Keeton and Jesse Keeton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Hobson, Preston Keeton, Ken Wally and Corizon Employees.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, March 30, 2018 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
