Mark Anthony Scavo of Iron City, TN was born November 15, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Michael Frank and Marlene Delores Fraine Scavo. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Jaye Fraine on October 8, 2011.
Mr. Scavo was a locomotive engineer and was of the Catholic faith. He was a United States Air Force veteran having served in Operation Desert Storm.
Mr. Scavo departed this life on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home at the age of 59 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jaye Fraine Scavo of Iron City, TN; sons, Jordan Scavo of Davis, CA, Blake Scavo of Escondido, CA, Tyler Scavo of Palmdale, CA; stepsons, Ian Remer of Glendale, IN, Robert Remers of Aurora, IN; daughters, Abigayle Scavo of Palmdale, CA, Katie Scavo of San Diego, CA, Ashleigh Remers, Asya Remers; grandchildren, Zoie and Landon Renfro, Katie and Jesse Wilkening, Rylynn and Kylee Head, Alaina Remers and Gunner Bosler.
At his request his remains will be cremated and memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
