Markham "Woody" McMillan, a devoted family man and entrepreneur, passed away on April 5, 2026, in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on August 10, 1959, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Markham dedicated his life to his family, his community, and his business. He was the proud owner of Coastal Insulation, a testament to his hardworking spirit and commitment to providing quality service.
Markham’s life was deeply rooted in the values of faith and fellowship. He was an active member of the Community of Christ Church in Van Cleave, Mississippi, where he found strength and connection with others who shared his beliefs. His involvement in the church was a cornerstone of his life and a source of comfort to those around him.
On April 4, 1993, Mark married Debbie Brady, who stood by his side throughout their years together. Their marriage was blessed with love and partnership, and they raised a wonderful family together. Markham is survived by his wife, Debbie McMillan; their children, Cameron Mitchell McMillan, Jessie Markham McMillan, Amanda Joan Parker, Salina Marie McMillan, Desmond Marshall Brady and Matthew Aaron Brady; as well as his brother, Mitchell McMillan, and sister, Regena Marie McMillan.
Markham was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell Elwood and Mary Ellen Tillman McMillan, and his sister, Rebecca McMillan. Though they are no longer with us, their memory lives on in the hearts of their family.
Those who knew Markham remember him as a man who truly cherished the simple joys of life. He loved to fish and spend time near water, passions that brought him peace and happiness. He also enjoyed working on his truck, a hobby that reflected his hands-on approach to life. Above all, his greatest joy was his family, who remained at the center of his world.
Markham McMillan’s legacy is one of dedication—to his family, his faith, and his work. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
