Marlene Brown

Marlene Ella Brown was born June 28, 1936 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Delmer and Phyllis McBride Wedge. She departed this life on April 10, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 83 Years, 9 Months, 13 Days.
Mrs. Brown was a faithful church member for many years before her illness. She always enjoyed singing gospel songs and did so most of her day living with Alzheimer . She also enjoyed sewing and cooking. Marlene loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to Russell Brown Sr. for 67 years before he passed six months ago on October 11, 2019.
She is survived by her children, their spouses and grandchildren: Ron and wife Kayla and their kids Kevin and Kari; Ralph and wife Karen and their kids Mathew and wife Jesse and Josh; Randy and wife T K and their kids Courtney and Carissa; Marlene and husband Len and their kids Jacob and wife Jody and Mitchell and wife Mariah and Aaron and wife Stephanie.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Otis Brown Sr. and a son Russ Jr.
IN RESPONSE TO CURRENT EXECUTIVE ORDERS PROHIBITING PERSONS IN TENNESSEE FROM ATTENDING SOCIAL GATHERINGS CONSISTING OF 10 OR MORE PEOPLE, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES ANNOUNCED UNTIL THE ORDERS EXPIRE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ANNOUNCE DEATHS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
