Martha Lou Carson Chenault

Martha Lou Carson Chenault departed this life on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 13 days. She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on August 13, 1935, the daughter of the late Arbie Gail Dancer Carson and Anthony Buford Carson. On November 5, 1958, she was united in marriage to Edward Eugene Chenault, who preceded her in death on July 2, 1990.

Martha had worked for Aldens Mail-Order House for 14 years as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. She had lived in Hardin County for several years and was a member of the Sand Hill Pentecostal Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to Gospel music, visiting and talking with friends.

She is survived by a brother, Jerry Carson and his wife Annie of Stantonville, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Chenault; sisters, Jean Linville and Nelda June Chenault; and an infant brother, Luther Carson.
