Martha Jean Copeland departed this life on April 5, 2015 at Savannah Healthcare at the age of 79 years, 9 months, and 17 days. She was born on June 19, 1935 in Hardin County, Tennessee, daughter to the late Otis and Grace Banks Lane. She was united in marriage to Douglas Albert Copeland on February 5, 1955. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1996.
Martha was employed at Savannah Manufacturing. She was also a member of Russell Chapel Church in Savannah, Tennessee where she sang in the choir.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by her grandchildren, Tracy Durbin, Jerry Hardin, and William Allen Hardin; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Durbin, Jada Durbin, Carson Durbin, Mallary Hardin, and Hunter Hardin.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Hardin.
