Martha Thrasher Foust

Martha Thrasher Foust was born June 28, 1946 in Alcorn County, MS the daughter of the late Dalton and Lela Mae Hastings Thrasher.
She was united in marriage to James Albert Foust on June 28, 1974. Mr. Foust preceded her in death on December 24, 2014.
Mrs. Foust was a loving mother and grandmother. She took great pride in being involved in all aspects of her children and grandchildren lives. She attended Lakeview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Foust departed this life on April 16, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by her children,
Richard Brooks and wife Laura Beth of Jackson, TN, Sandra McCormick and husband Jerry of Bethel Springs, TN, Terry Foust of Selmer, TN; five grandchildren, Spencer Brooks, Heather McCormick, Michael Foust, Crystal McCormick, Adam McCormick; a great-grandchild, Luca Brooks; a brother, Thomas Thrasher of Corinth, MS; three sisters, Peggy Sue Thrasher, Glayds Barnett and husband Tommy, Darnell Dildy and husband Benny all of Corinth, MS; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Foust was preceded in death by four brothers, John Robert Thrasher, Bobby Dalton Thrasher, Marcus Thrasher, Joseph Edward (Joe) Thrasher; three sisters, Anna Bell Thrasher, Jane Brooks, Mary Frances Brooks.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
IN RESPONSE TO CURRENT EXECUTIVE ORDERS PROHIBITING PERSONS IN TENNESSEE FROM ATTENDING SOCIAL GATHERINGS CONSISTING OF 10 OR MORE PEOPLE, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES ANNOUNCED, UNLESS CIRCUMSTANCES PERMIT, UNTIL THE ORDERS EXPIRE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ANNOUNCE DEATHS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
