Martha Evalee Jones

Martha Evalee Jones of Ramer, TN was born April 22, 1950 in Corinth, MS the daughter of the late Cecil Steward and Bertha Mae Briggs Steward. She departed this life on November 8, 2019 in Jackson, TN at the age of 69 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days. She was united in marriage to John Paul Jones on May 1, 1998. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on April 9, 2018.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Olive Hill Baptist Church. During her adult hood, she worked for Colonial Bread, was Manager at Dixie Pools and Spas, and ended her working career selling insurance. She enjoyed driving the tractor, plowing, riding horses, cooking, and sewing. Most of all, her family were top priority.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Wilson and husband William of Guys, TN; three sons, Jason Whitaker of McKinney, TX, Joey Bowen and wife Misty of McEwen, TN, Jimmy Bowen and wife Michelle of Guys, TN; a step-daughter,Brandi Mrozinski and husband David of Murfreesboro, TN; a step-son, Paul Lee Joned and wife Jennifer of Ft. Campbell, KY; fifteen grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Destiny Quinn, Jacob Whitaker, Isaac Whitaker, Autumn Bowen, John-Thomas Bowen, Hayes Bowen, Easton Bowen, Kylie Bowen, Jessey Speck, Briar Mrozinski, Gage Mrozinski, Anniston Jones, Ansley Jones, Jynnette Karroll Bowen; two great grandchildren, Brentlee Quinn, Mattie-Blayke Quinn; a sister, Edna Mae Prather of Selmer, TN; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jasmine Kendall Bowen; a brother, Cecil Ray Steward.
