Martha Linam

Martha Linamwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 13, 1914 the daughter of the late William Edgar and Mary Ellen Jerrolds Kelly.On March 19, 1932 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Wayne Linam, who preceded her in death on June 29, 1983.Mrs. Linam was a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church and had lived in Walkertown all her life. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and gardening. She loved her grandkids, neighbors and friends.Mrs. Linam departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the age of 96 years, 10 months, 8 days.She is survived by 5 sons, Eddie Wasson Linam, Billy Don Linam, Charles Lynn Linam, James Noel Linam and David Van Linam all of Savannah, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; a sister, Ruby McCasland of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Linam; 4 brothers, Jack, Tom , Morris and W.E. Kelly; 3 sister, Margaret Riddell, Dorothy Couch and Marie Vandiver.
