Martha Marie Mayfield

Mrs. Mayfield died Sunday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was the widow of Mr. Tillman Jackson Mayfield, who passed away April 28, 2009. They had been married 55 years. Mrs. Mayfield was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Oza Edgar Fawcett Richie. For 16 years, she was employed in the cafeteria of Bolivar Elementary School. She was a member of the Forest Hill Pentecostal Church near Bolivar.
She leaves a son, Martin Jackson Mayfield and his wife Barbara, of Toone; a sister, Mary Elizabeth James and her husband Aubrey of Cedar Grove; a brother, Lester Richie and his wife Minnie of Byhalia, MS; three grandchildren, Martin Joseph and Matthew Edward Mayfield and Susan Michelle Mayfield Foster and her husband, James; two great-grandchildren, Westin and Logan Foster and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Mayfield and a great-niece, Leah Mayfield.
