MARTHA ANN ‘SIS’ THOMAS
Henderson, TN: Martha Ann Thomas age 70 passed away January 7, 2015 at her home.
She was born April 9, 1944 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Jesse Leo and Ninnie Flois Smith Thomas. Martha contracted polio when she was 9 days old. She attended Easter Seal in Lexington for several years. She had made her home with G.W. and Nancy since August 1, 1998. Martha attended Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Nancy Rush and husband G. W. of Henderson; two brothers, Harold Thomas and wife Carolyn of Henderson and Lewis Thomas and wife Diane of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Faye Scarbrough and a brother, Jackie Thomas.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday January 10, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Charles Ward and Michael Rickenbaker officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
