Martha Tucker

MARTHA TUCKER

was born in Etheridge, Tennessee on November 20, 1937 the daughter of the late Berto W. and Lilla Mae Stewart Maddox.

On January 16, 1954 she was united in marriage to Jerry Eugene Tucker, Sr., who preceded his wife in death on September 1, 2005.

Martha was a host for the Buford Pusser Museum in Adamsville, Tennessee for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. Martha was a very good seamstress, loved working with arts and crafts and flowers. She was also an avid photographer.

Martha departed this life on April 20, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years and 5 months.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Ann Tucker Williams and her husband Stanley of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandy Hope Tucker Campbell and Stefanie Annette Williams; and great grandchildren, Austin Lee Campbell, Emma Hope Campbell and Tucker Campbell.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Eugene Tucker, Jr., one sister, Mattie Geraldine Maddox Brown and one brother, John Wallace "Bo" Maddox.
