Martha Thorne Wolfe Winborn

Martha Thorne Wolfe Winborn was born on July 10, 1936 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Willis Ebbert and Retha Plunk Thorne.

Martha worked as the Food Service Supervisor for the Hardin County School System for over 30 years until her retirement in 1996. She loved cooking and working in her house.

Martha Thorne Wolfe Winborn departed this life on May 24, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 14 days.

She is survived by her son, Wes Wolfe (Ashley) of Savannah, Tennessee; 1 grandson; and 2 granddaughters, Peytan Leigh and Kiersteen Nichole.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her brothers, Cleburn Thorne, Hayes Thorne, and Paul Thorne and sister, Mary Jean Stewart.
