MARVIN FRANK

Henderson, TN: Marvin Ballard Frank, age 86, passed away June 14, 2026, at his home.

He was born, May 3, 1940, in Henderson, the son of the late Robert Luther Frank, Sr. and Stella Mae Ballard Frank. He grew up in Silerton and Henderson and was a 1956 graduate of Chester County High School.

He was a Baptist in belief.

He was a truck driver, and worked on tugboats, loves cars and westerns and enjoyed sitting in his rocker and playing cards. He will be deeply missed.

Mr. Frank is survived by a son, Myron Frank (Linda) of Newsite, MS and an honorary daughter, Mary Kilzer (Andy) of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Nathan Frank, Nicole Nash, Brandy Tuttle, Katie Powell (Marcus), Ashley Goff, Breanna Goff Kilzer and Alexis Hopper; seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Faye Jackson Frank, and two brothers, Junior Frank and J.W. Frank.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 17th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ken Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and beginning at 12 Noon on Wednesday until 2:00 PM service time.
